おすすめ　#おうちごはんでは、最近、上記の通り、「 トップバリュ ベストプライス 味噌ラーメン（5食パック）: 本体価格 298円 」を食べています。袋のインスタントラーメンです。麺を鍋で茹でて、袋についてくるスープの粉と調味料の袋を入れ丼に入れる作り方です。この少しだけ手間のかかる作り方、食べ方が好きです。最近何年間かは、カップラーメンは食べていません。
味噌ラーメンのインスタント、色々なメーカーを食べていますが、この味噌、まあまあ美味しいので気に入っています。1食約60円でほかより安価です。麺は、普通の袋のラーメンよりしっかりしています。味は特に個性はなく無難なのですが何回食べても飽きません。私の好みに合っているのかもしれません。
5食で4回食べたのであと一袋になりました。何回か食べるうちにはじめよりも好きになってきたので無くなることが寂しいです。暑い日に食べてもなぜだか美味しいです。逆にそんな日に食べたくなります。1kｇ199円スパゲッティの茹でた麺を冷蔵庫で切らしたタイミングでこのラーメンを食べています。
下記、今まで3袋食べたときの写真も紹介します。真似したつもりはないのですが、4回ともあまりにも同じような体裁なので、見て驚きました。面白いです。
この味噌ラーメン、 結構気に入りましたが、 トップバリュ ベストプライス （イオンブランド）のラーメンは、豚骨、味噌食べてきたので、次は別の味に挑戦しようと思っています。食べたことのないラーメンの、味見、1回目食べるときが結構好きです。私の特徴として、ネットでの他人の評判は、ほとんど見ないで買います。食べてからネットでの他人の評判を見て、私の感想との違いを確認します。今回の味噌ラーメンも確認しました。

Recently, at Recommended #HomeCooking, I have been eating the above-mentioned Topvalu Best Price Miso Ramen (5-pack), priced at ¥298 before tax. It is an instant ramen that comes in a bag. To prepare it, I boil the noodles in a pot, then add the powdered soup and seasoning packet that come with the noodles, and finally put everything into a bowl. I actually like this slightly more hands-on way of preparing and eating ramen. I have not eaten cup ramen for the past several years.

I have tried instant miso ramen from various manufacturers, and I like this one because it is reasonably tasty. At about ¥60 per serving, it is also cheaper than many others. The noodles are firmer and more substantial than those of ordinary bagged ramen. The flavor is not particularly distinctive, but it is pleasantly straightforward, and I never get tired of it, even after eating it several times. Maybe it simply suits my taste.

I have eaten four of the five servings, so there is only one serving left. The more I ate it, the more I came to like it, so I feel a little sad that it is almost gone. For some reason, it tastes delicious even on hot days. In fact, those are the days when I sometimes find myself wanting to eat it.

I have been eating this ramen whenever I run out of the cooked spaghetti noodles that I keep in the refrigerator. The spaghetti costs ¥199 per kilogram, so I usually have plenty of it prepared, but when I happen to run out, this ramen is a good alternative.

Below, I am also introducing photos from the first three times I ate this ramen. I did not intentionally try to make them look the same, but when I looked at the photos, I was surprised to see that all four meals had an almost identical presentation. I thought that was interesting and kind of funny.

I have come to like this miso ramen quite a lot. I have already tried the Topvalu Best Price ramen, the Aeon private brand, in both tonkotsu and miso flavors, so next I am thinking of trying a different flavor.

I actually enjoy tasting a ramen I have never eaten before, especially the very first time I try it. One characteristic of mine is that I usually buy things without looking much at other people’s reviews online. I prefer to taste something myself first. After eating it, I look at other people’s opinions online and compare them with my own impressions.

I did the same thing with this miso ramen, too.

おすすめ　#おうちごはんでは、毎食の食事を考え決めていますが、最近最も多いスパゲッティ料理を考える方法として、まず味付けから考える手順があります。
昨日の上記は、「 アジア風ナンプラースパゲッティ　豚肉キャベツタマネギトマト 」という食事ですが、まずナンプラーを味付けとして思いつきました。考えるというより、味覚の欲望が、「ナンプラー」を思いついたのです。最近食べていませんし、アジア風の味が食べたくなってきたのです。しかし、思いついても、家になければ作ることが出来ません。今、思いついて作れるスパゲッティの味の方向性は、下記の項目にパターン化していることに気が付きました。だいたいは、下記の項目、方向で作っています。その時の気分が大事だと思っているので、あまり計画は立てていません。半日前位に何を食べたくなっているかにより、急に料理が決定します。昨日は、昼は中華風、夜はアジア風を実践しました。

At Recommended #OuchiGohan, I think about and decide what to eat for every meal. Recently, since spaghetti has become the type of dish I make most often, I have developed a way of deciding what kind of spaghetti to make: I first think about the flavor I want.

Yesterday, for example, I made “Asian-Style Fish Sauce Spaghetti with Pork, Cabbage, Onion, and Tomato.” The first thing that came to mind as the seasoning was fish sauce.

Rather than consciously thinking about it, I think my desire for a particular flavor made me think of fish sauce. I had not eaten it recently, and I had started craving an Asian-style flavor.

Of course, even if I suddenly think of a particular flavor, I cannot make the dish if I do not have the necessary ingredients at home.

I have recently realized that the flavor directions of the spaghetti dishes I can think of and make at home have become patterned into the categories below. Most of the time, I make spaghetti based on one of these flavor directions.

I cooked the pork, cabbage, and onion in a small frying pan, then added spaghetti that I had boiled earlier and kept in the refrigerator. I mixed everything with Japanese medium-thick sauce (chuno sauce) and stir-fried it all together. I did not add any water. It was finished very quickly.

I simply ate it as it was, without adding anything at the table. Unlike my usual version, it was light and refreshing, and it was just right for this season and my mood.

The spaghetti is boiled from cold water in a large frying pan, so the noodles are pleasantly chewy and have quite a firm texture. おすすめ　#おうちごはんでは、昨日も飽きずに「ペペロンチーノ」を作り食べました。今回は、「 和風ペペロンチーノスパゲッティ　ぶなしめじロースハムキャベツタマネギ海苔 」という内容です。気分的に和風にしたかったのですが、それほど和風の作り方ではありません、作り方は、正式なペペロンチーノとは程遠いのですが、輪切り唐辛子、チューブすりおろしニンニク、ロースハム、ぶなしめじ、キャベツ、タマネギを少しの塩でサラダオイルとフライパンで炒め、少しの水を入れ、茹でてあった冷蔵庫のスパゲッティを入れよくかき混ぜます。ぶなしめじもそうですが、最近のキノコは、対や砂、固いところが取ってあるのか栽培方法なのか、少し洗うだけで使えます。前はキノコの茎の端を切っていました。
今回は、顆粒の鶏ガラスープの素も少し入れました。しばらくすると、水がなくなり、キノコの全体に回り、美味しいペペロンチーノになりました。切ったのりをかけて和風なイメージにしました。思ったより海苔が合い美味しいので、成功です。今回は袋に残っていた輪切り唐辛子を全部入れているので、結構辛さはあります。
作り方がそれぞれ少しづつ違う、最近のペペロンチーノスパゲッティを おすすめ　#おうちごはん Xからいくつか紹介させていただきます。最近、Xの検索システムは少し変わったみたいです。Xに「ペペロンチーノ」で検索すると少ししか出ませんが、 おすすめ　#おうちごはん の画面から「ペペロンチーノスパゲッティ」と検索するとたくさん出てきます。

Recommended #HomeCooking Blog: “Japanese-Style Peperoncino Spaghetti with Shimeji Mushrooms, Ham, Cabbage, Onion, and Nori”

Yesterday, I once again made and ate “Peperoncino” for dinner without getting tired of it.

This time, I made what I call “Japanese-Style Peperoncino Spaghetti with Shimeji Mushrooms, Ham, Cabbage, Onion, and Nori.”

I was in the mood for something Japanese-style, although the way I made it was not particularly Japanese.

My cooking method is also quite far from an authentic Peperoncino. I stir-fried sliced red chili peppers, grated garlic paste from a tube, sliced ham, shimeji mushrooms, cabbage, and onion in a frying pan with a little salt and vegetable oil. I then added a little water and put in some pre-cooked spaghetti that had been stored in the refrigerator, mixing everything well.

Shimeji mushrooms and other mushrooms these days are very convenient. Perhaps the dirt and sand have already been removed, or perhaps it is because of the way they are cultivated, but they can be used after just a quick rinse. In the past, I used to cut off the ends of the mushroom stems.

This time, I also added a little granulated chicken stock.

After cooking for a while, the water disappeared and was absorbed throughout the mushrooms and other ingredients, resulting in a delicious Peperoncino.

I sprinkled shredded nori seaweed over the top to give it a Japanese-style appearance.

The nori went surprisingly well with it and made it delicious, so I consider this a success.

This time, I used all the sliced red chili peppers that were left in the bag, so it was fairly spicy.

おすすめ　#おうちごはん では、カレーをよく作りますが、いつもは、豚肉、じゃがいも、にんじん、タマネギで作ります。今回初めてピーマンとキャベツを入れてみました。上記の通り「 辛口ピーマンキャベツカレーライス　豚肉じゃがいもタマネギトマト 」という内容です。
正直言って味的にとても合う、入れると美味しくなるとも感じませんでしたが、食感、栄養的に意味はあるかな？というところが私の感想です。今回は、食感を意識してピーマン、じゃがいもを大きく切り入れました。野菜がゴロゴロして食べていて楽しめます。 写真写りとしても面白いです。
今回は入れませんでしたが、いつもはにんじんをカレー用に買ってきて入れています。気が付きましたのが、家のカレーにはよくにんじんが入っていますが、店で食べるカレーには、にんじんをあまり見かけません。そんな意味があるのか？を人工知能に聞いてみることにしました。

Since I’m trying to keep my food budget low, I made one rule for myself: I could only use ingredients that I already had at home. I also deliberately avoided looking at cooking websites or asking AI for ideas. Instead, I wanted to come up with a recipe entirely on my own.

Yesterday for dinner at Recommended #HomeCooking, I had Teriyaki Pork Spaghetti with Cabbage and Onion. For the teriyaki flavor, I used a Japanese barbecue sauce called “Teriyaki no Tare.” It’s one of my favorite barbecue sauces because it has a wonderfully rich, smoky flavor, like meat grilled over a flame.

I had owned this sauce for quite a long time. However, after changing to a lifestyle focused on saving money, I stopped using barbecue sauce because I felt it wasn’t very economical. These days, I usually recreate similar flavors by combining other seasonings instead.

Still, I didn’t want to leave the bottle sitting in the refrigerator forever, so I decided to use it yesterday. I stir-fried pork, onion, and cabbage in a frying pan, added the “Teriyaki no Tare” sauce, and then mixed in the spaghetti. It gave the dish a flavor I hadn’t enjoyed in quite a while, making it a delicious meal. It reminded me that a well-made barbecue sauce really is worth paying for.

They were 299 yen for five pieces, a price I had never seen for menchi katsu before. I had originally planned to buy the store’s croquettes, but I immediately chose the menchi katsu instead because I like them even more.

サクッとジューシー メンチカツ 冷凍 1.8kg（60ｇ×30個）国産 食べきりサイズ お弁当 おかず

と思っていたのですが、カレーを使い切り、切らしておりました。私は、カレーに対しては、食べないでいると無性に食べたくなる、禁断症状があり、昨日ちょうど食べたくなったのですが、無くて残念です。シチューに対してはそれほどではありません。箱は、両方とも2回分の量なので、両方あると思い込んでいたのです。結局、クリームシチューだけしかなかったので、残念ですがそうしました。もうひとつうっかりしていたのは、冷凍の豚肉を解凍するのを忘れていたので、昼ごはんに急いでいたので今回は、椎茸をたくさん入れることにしました。肉はなしで「 クリームシチューライス　椎茸じゃがいもにんじんタマネギキャベツ 」という内容です。しいたけの味が濃くて美味しいシチューにはなりました。シチューを作り昼ごはんを食べ終えてから、スパゲッティを切らしている件もあり、暑い中ですが、買い物に行くことにしました。最近の主食「スパゲッティ」を切らすことは困るので、今回は、2ｋｇ買ってきました。前も買ったことのある1.7mm1ｋｇ199円の近所では一番安いやつです。ついでに米も見てみると、とうとう近くのスーパーでも5ｋｇ2000円台の米が出ていました。いずれにしてもスパゲッティのほうが、経済性は高いようです。当分の間は、経済性重視、主食スパゲッティを続けていきたいと思っています。ペペロンチーノ用にたくさん使い、ついに、残り少なくなっている輪切り唐辛子も買ってきました。

It turned out that I had already used up all of the curry roux without realizing it. I have a bit of a “curry withdrawal”—if I go too long without eating curry, I suddenly crave it very badly. Yesterday was exactly one of those days, so it was disappointing to discover that I had none left. I don’t feel quite the same way about cream stew. Since both the curry and the stew come in boxes that make two meals each, I had simply assumed I still had both.

In the end, I only had the cream stew, so although it wasn’t what I had planned, I decided to make that instead.

There was another oversight as well. I had forgotten to thaw the frozen pork. Since I was in a hurry to prepare lunch, I decided to add plenty of shiitake mushrooms instead. The meal became cream stew over rice with shiitake mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, onions, and cabbage, without any meat. The rich flavor of the shiitake mushrooms made the stew especially delicious.

After finishing lunch, I realized I was also out of spaghetti, so despite the hot weather, I headed out to the supermarket. Since spaghetti has become my staple food recently, I didn’t want to run out again. This time, I bought 2 kg. It was the same spaghetti I had purchased before—the least expensive one at my neighborhood supermarket: 1 kg of 1.7 mm spaghetti for 199 yen.

今回の豚丼の味つけは、鰹出汁醤油と砂糖、チャーハンは、醤油とニンニク、両方ともシンプルですが、私の好きな味付けです。豚丼には、買ったばかりの紅生姜をたくさんのせました。山椒と七味唐辛子をかけることは、定番です。チャーハンには、豚肉タマネギキャベツを入れましたが色がなく寂しいので、トマトと梅干しをのせました。

At Recommended #HomeCooking, my plans changed yesterday, and I ran out of the spaghetti that I had been eating mainly because it was economical. So, I decided to cook some rice instead.

As I thought about what kind of meal to make with rice, the first two dishes that came to mind were a pork rice bowl (butadon) and fried rice. It reminded me just how much I love these two dishes. While spaghetti can be transformed into many different meals, there’s simply no way to recreate the taste and texture of pork rice bowls or fried rice with pasta. Their unique deliciousness can only be enjoyed with rice.

This time, I seasoned the pork rice bowl with bonito dashi soy sauce and sugar, while the fried rice was flavored simply with soy sauce and garlic. Both dishes had very simple seasonings, but they are exactly the flavors I enjoy most.

I also topped the pork rice bowl generously with freshly purchased pickled red ginger (beni shoga). As always, I finished it with a sprinkle of Japanese sansho pepper and shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven-spice chili pepper). For the fried rice, I added pork, onions, and cabbage. Since the colors looked a little plain, I garnished it with slices of tomato and a pickled plum (umeboshi) to brighten the plate.

At Recommended #HomeCooking, I always keep a bottle of balsamic vinegar in my refrigerator. Since it’s quite expensive, I think of it as a luxurious seasoning. Even so, for some reason I really love its flavor, and whenever I run out, I go out and buy another bottle.

The photo above shows this morning’s breakfast. When I make tomato, roast ham, and cabbage toast, I can’t help but think of the combination of balsamic vinegar, mayonnaise, and coarsely ground black pepper. Maybe someone should sell mayonnaise already blended with balsamic vinegar! I simply love the flavor they create together.

I became curious about how I’ve used balsamic vinegar in my Recommended #HomeCooking posts over the years, so I searched through my posts on X. I discovered several uses that I had completely forgotten about. My memory couldn’t recall them, but X remembered them perfectly. It’s really convenient!

太麺かた焼きそばに関しましては、野菜の切り方を変えています。今回、千葉県産の大きくて美味しいしいたけを買ってきてあったので、大ぶりに切り、入れました。ピーマンも合わせて大きく切っています。大きな野菜、それぞれの味を強烈に感じる食事で、結構楽しかったので、次回作るときも気が向いたときは、大きく切ることにします。
私は、夏暑い中、不思議と最近食欲旺盛みたいで、上記の通り、肉と野菜をたくさん入れた太麺かた焼きそば1人前食べてもお腹いっぱいにならなかったので、今回も、マイグラを皿についた残り汁につけて少し食べることにしました。汁と合わさって美味しい味です。

At Recommended #HomeCooking, I often make and eat my favorite dishes, Peperoncino and Thick-Noodle Crispy Fried Yakisoba. As I mentioned above, I enjoyed them again yesterday, but this time I made a few changes to the recipes, so I’d like to explain them.

For the peperoncino, I usually season it simply with salt or use Western-style seasonings such as consommé. This time, however, I decided to use bonito dashi instead. In my mind, I had always made up a rule that bonito dashi (granules) should only be used for Japanese-style dishes. Since I like the flavor, though, I decided there was no reason not to try it. The result was delicious to my taste. From now on, I plan to experiment with using bonito dashi even in Western-style dishes that I previously thought wouldn’t go well with it.

For the thick-noodle crispy fried yakisoba, I changed the way I cut the vegetables. I had bought some large, delicious shiitake mushrooms from Chiba Prefecture, so I cut them into large pieces before adding them. I also cut the green peppers into large chunks. Eating large pieces of vegetables really highlighted the individual flavors of each ingredient, and I found it surprisingly enjoyable. The next time I make this dish, I’ll probably cut the vegetables into large pieces again whenever I’m in the mood.

Even though it’s the middle of a hot summer, I’ve been surprisingly hungry lately. As I mentioned above, even after eating a full serving of thick-noodle crispy fried yakisoba loaded with meat and vegetables, I still wasn’t completely full. So once again, I ate a small serving of MyGranola by dipping it into the flavorful sauce left on the plate. Mixed with the remaining sauce, it tasted surprisingly delicious.

辛さと香りを強めるために、下記「S＆Bカレー粉」を入れています。今回で二回目です。今回の上記「 辛口カレーライス　豚肉じゃがいもにんじんタマネギ　トマト梅干し 」では、小さじ二杯入れました。ルーの香りとは違う、カレーのいい香りがします。まあまあ辛いのですが、もっと入れても良さそうです。基本となるカレールーは、先日も食べたイオンの安価なものの辛口を使っていますが、辛さと香りが強まり、全体的に私の好きな味になります。 S＆Bカレー粉 は、肉と野菜を入れる早い時期から入れています。味がつきます。隠し味という言い方は、正しいのか、またカレー粉の使い方として正しいのかはわかりませんが、 S＆Bカレー粉 を入れた味が好きになり、習慣になっています。
今回のカレー、結構美味しかったので食が進み、上下の写真通り、昨日昼と夜二回食べましたが、鍋のカレーはすでに殆どなくなっています。2回目は、下記のコロッケカレーです。
今回のカレーライス、色として茶色だけだと寂しいので、福神漬は今ないのですが、トマトや梅干しを端っこに入れています。 トマト、梅干し 、合わないもののように見えますが、たまに食べながらカレーをたべるのも悪くありません。

At Recommended #HomeCooking, I used to enjoy making curry exactly as the manufacturer intended, without adding any secret ingredients. Recently, however, I’ve started experimenting with my own touches.

To make the curry spicier and more aromatic, I’ve been adding S&B Curry Powder. This is the second time I’ve used it. For the Spicy Curry Rice with Pork, Potatoes, Carrots, Onions, Tomato, and Pickled Plum (Umeboshi) shown above, I added two teaspoons of curry powder.

It gives the curry a wonderful aroma that’s different from the fragrance of the curry roux itself. The curry is already fairly spicy, but I think I could even add a little more next time. As the base, I used the inexpensive spicy curry roux from AEON that I mentioned in my previous post. With the addition of the S&B Curry Powder, both the spiciness and the aroma become stronger, creating a flavor that I personally enjoy much more.

I add the S&B Curry Powder early in the cooking process, together with the meat and vegetables, so the flavor blends well into the ingredients. I’m not sure whether calling it a “secret ingredient” is technically correct, or even whether this is the proper way to use curry powder. However, I’ve really come to like the flavor it adds, and using it has become part of my regular curry-making routine.

This batch of curry turned out especially delicious, so my appetite was excellent. As you can see in the photos above and below, I ate it twice yesterday—once for lunch and again for dinner—and there’s hardly any left in the pot already. The second meal was Curry Rice with a Croquette.

Since curry rice can look a bit plain with only shades of brown, I added sliced tomatoes and an umeboshi (pickled plum) on the side. I didn’t have any fukujinzuke (Japanese curry pickles) this time. Tomatoes and umeboshi may seem like unusual companions for curry, but taking a bite of them now and then while eating the curry is actually quite enjoyable.

今回は、全体的に薄味の塩味にしました。油も少なめです。椎茸、ひらたけ、それぞれの味が、ちゃんと分かるためです。濃い味付け料理ですと、ひらたけがわからなくなります。それぞれのキノコの味、豚肉、野菜、全体の味として、うまくいったせいか、かなり美味しく感じました。
美味しいのはいいのですが、全体的に色がなく、写真としては、面白くないことが残念です。次回は、冷蔵庫にあるピーマン、にんじんを無理やり入れようかとも思いますが、美味しいのでこれはこれで良いのかとも思っています。
正直言って、にんじんとピーマンは、写真写りを気にして買っている意味もあります。朝ごはん、トーストが多いのですが、色が少なくワンパターンになりがちなので、今度は、ピーマンを使おうと思っています。
美味しいこと、見栄えすること、両方とも大事なことだとは思っています。大抵の場合、いろいろな色があったほうが、健康に良いですし。

At Recommended #HomeCooking, I made and ate “Shiitake & Hiratake Mushroom, Pork, and Garlic Spaghetti with Cabbage and Onion” yesterday, and it turned out quite delicious, so I’d like to share it with you.

This time, I seasoned it with a light, mild salty flavor and used less oil than usual. The reason was that I wanted the individual flavors of the shiitake mushrooms and hiratake mushrooms to stand out clearly. With a stronger seasoning, the delicate flavor of the hiratake tends to get lost.

I could taste each mushroom separately, along with the pork and vegetables, and the overall balance came together very well, which made it taste especially good.

The taste was excellent, but unfortunately the dish had very little color overall, so the photo was not very exciting. Next time, I’m thinking of adding some green peppers and carrots from the refrigerator, even if it’s just for color. On the other hand, since the dish is already delicious as it is, I also feel that this simple appearance has its own charm.

To be honest, one reason I buy carrots and green peppers is to make my food look better in photos. I often eat toast for breakfast, and the colors tend to be limited, making the pictures look repetitive. Next time, I’d like to use some green peppers.

450ccのときは、今まで通り小さな丼にしようと思っています。丼の端の渦巻きの模様が、結構気に入っているからです。

At Recommended #HomeCooking, I make ramen quite often. I prefer cooking packaged instant ramen in a pot and serving it in a traditional ramen bowl, so I rarely eat cup noodles.

In a recent blog post, I mentioned that I have trouble carrying a bowl of ramen from the kitchen to the dining table. While looking around the house, I happened to find a large bowl that I had never noticed before. I decided to try using it right away.

The larger bowl easily holds both the noodles and the soup, and because it is much thicker, it doesn’t get too hot to hold. Carrying it has become much easier and more comfortable. The photo above compares my previous bowl with the larger one. Both contain ramen made with the same 500 ml of water, but the difference in size is quite noticeable. The thicker bowl also helps keep the soup warm for longer.

From now on, I’ll use this larger bowl whenever I make ramen that requires 500 ml of water.

For ramen that uses 450 ml of water, I’ll continue using my smaller bowl. One reason is that I really like the decorative spiral pattern around the rim.

On a recent TV program, they explained the meaning of this pattern in detail, and the topic was also featured on Yahoo! News. It turns out that the spiral design is called the “Thunder Pattern” (Kaminari Moyō).

The Yahoo! News article was titled:

おすすめ　#おうちごはん では、食後にマイグラを食べていると先日のブログでお伝えしましたが、今回もそうしました。今回のスパゲッティを食べ終わった残り汁にマイグラを浸して食べたらとても美味しかったのでお伝えします。写真を撮っていないことは残念です。
スパゲッティの内容は「 ひらたけキャベツタマネギバタースパゲッティ　コンソメ鶏ガラ 」で、水分が多いスープスパゲッティ的な内容でしたので、残り汁は多めでした。「バター、コンソメ、鶏ガラ、ひらたけ」の味が調和し、とても美味しいスープにマイグラの味が混じって、まるであとを引くポテトチップのようでした。
このような使い方は、マイグラにピッタリです。

Recommended #HomeCooking Blog: “MyGrain with Leftover Spaghetti Broth – Surprisingly Delicious!”

At Recommended #HomeCooking, I mentioned in a recent blog post that I often eat MyGrain after my meals. This time, I did the same. After finishing my spaghetti, I poured the remaining broth over some MyGrain, and it turned out to be incredibly delicious, so I wanted to share the idea. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo.

The spaghetti was Butter Spaghetti with Hiratake Mushrooms, Cabbage, and Onion, seasoned with consommé and chicken stock. It was more like a soup-style spaghetti with plenty of broth left over. The flavors of butter, consommé, chicken stock, and hiratake mushrooms blended beautifully, and when mixed with the MyGrain, the result was surprisingly addictive—almost like the irresistible flavor of potato chips that keeps you reaching for another bite.

This is a perfect way to enjoy MyGrain, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

おすすめ　#おうちごはんでは、たびたびナポリタンを作るときがありますが、美味しい作り方を知ろうと、今でもテレビの料理番組を見たりします。最近気になっていますのが、「ケチャップをフライパンで焼いて酸味を飛ばす」という作り方です。真似て何回かはやってみました。わかったのは、私はケチャップの酸味、嫌いではなかったことです。選んだケチャップにもよりますが、むしろ酸味は、好きです。上記は、スパゲッティに直接ケチャップをかけ酸味を飛ばさず作りましたが、私の味覚には、美味しく出来上がりました。ケチャプそのままの味が好きなのかもしれません。メーカーの作る調味料の調合に慣らされ好きになったのかもしれません。
もうひとつ、テレビでよく見かけるのは、ナポリタンにマヨネーズを隠し味のように使うことです。これも何回かやっています。今回もあと少しのマヨネーズがあったので、多めに使いました。
これに関しては、特に反論はありません。
料理番組で言う、「まろやかになる」というメリット以外に、気がついたメリットとしては、フライパンに麺が全くこびりつかないことです。私にとっては大きなメリットです。こびりついた細かな麺、フライパンを洗うとき、台所の流しにたまるのは嫌なのです。この件以外でも、流しには何も流さないように気をつけているので、いつも綺麗です。
ナポリタンは、ケチャップ・マヨネーズをたくさん使うので、避けていたのですが、やはり今回もたくさん使いました。中濃ソースも少し使いました。美味しく出来上がったので良いのですが、ほかの味付けより不経済です。それでも味が好きなので食べたくなります。

At Recommended #HomeCooking, I make Neapolitan spaghetti from time to time, and I still watch TV cooking shows to learn better ways to prepare it.

One technique that has caught my attention recently is cooking the ketchup in a frying pan first to reduce its acidity. I tried this method several times. What I discovered is that I actually don’t dislike the natural tanginess of ketchup. Depending on the brand, I even enjoy it.

For the dish shown above, I poured the ketchup directly onto the spaghetti without cooking away its acidity, and it turned out delicious to my taste. Maybe I simply prefer the original flavor of ketchup. It may also be that I’ve grown accustomed to and fond of the seasoning blends created by ketchup manufacturers.

Another tip I often see on TV cooking shows is adding mayonnaise as a secret ingredient to Neapolitan spaghetti. I’ve tried that several times as well. This time I had just a little mayonnaise left, so I used a generous amount.

As for that idea, I have no objections.

Besides the commonly mentioned benefit of making the sauce “milder and creamier,” I noticed another advantage: the noodles don’t stick to the frying pan at all. That’s a huge benefit for me. I don’t like having tiny bits of stuck-on pasta come off while washing the pan and collect in the kitchen sink. I always try to keep anything unnecessary from going down the drain, so my sink stays clean.

I’ve often avoided making Neapolitan because it uses a lot of ketchup and mayonnaise, but once again I ended up using plenty of both. I also added a little Japanese semi-sweet Worcestershire sauce. The result was delicious, so I’m happy with it, although it’s less economical than many other seasoning combinations. Even so, I enjoy the flavor so much that I keep coming back to it.
